We source our Uganda Gorilla Drugar from Touton Uganda, located in the Kasese District, surrounded by the farmers who supply them with coffee. Kasese is at the base of the Rwenzori Mountains, nestled between the Rwenzori, Kibale, and Queen Elizabeth National Parks. Touton Uganda offers services to enhance the productivity, profitability, and livelihoods of coffee households. In 2020, Touton Uganda Limited launched their Rainforest Alliance (RFA) project, reaching 3,229 certified farmers in five areas of the region, situated between 1,200 and 1,800 meters above sea level. These farmers produce 1,000 tons of Drugar across two harvests. This region benefits from two harvest seasons: the main one from August to November and a secondary one from March to May. This coffee comes from the main harvest.
