Why We’re Adjusting Prices for Brazilian Coffee
At Feierboun Coffeeroasters, we are dedicated to bringing you the highest quality coffee while maintaining fairness in pricing. However, recent developments in Brazil, one of the world’s largest coffee producers, have significantly impacted the global coffee industry.
As a result, we must adjust the prices of our specialty coffees to reflect these changes and ensure fairness not only for our partners but also for ourselves.
Why the Price Adjustment and what's happening in Brazil?
Challenges in Brazil:
Severe weather conditions, including droughts and frosts, have drastically reduced coffee yields in Brazil. This scarcity has driven up the cost of green coffee beans worldwide.
Port Delays and Logistics Chaos:
Ongoing disruptions at Brazilian ports, caused by logistical bottlenecks and increased global demand, have delayed shipments and further inflated costs. These challenges make it harder to secure timely and affordable coffee deliveries.
Rising Production Costs:
The cost of labor, fertilizers, and transportation continues to rise. To maintain our commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing, we must adapt to these economic realities.
Fairness in Pricing:
We believe in fairness at every level—supporting farmers, maintaining quality, and ensuring the sustainability of our operations. This adjustment helps us achieve that balance.
How Does This Affect Us?
As a retailer dedicated to sustainability and fair traded coffees, we prioritize ethical sourcing, ensuring that our coffee producers are compensated fairly for their hard work. While we absorb cost increases whenever possible, the magnitude of these recent changes (between 25-35%+) leaves us no choice but to slightly adjust our prices.
Our Commitment to You
We remain steadfast in offering you premium-quality coffee that’s worth every sip. The price adjustments are essential to ensuring we continue supporting our partners in Brazil while bringing their exceptional coffee to your table.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Together, we can weather these challenges and savor the joys of great coffee responsibly.
